Before glueing down the new roof membrane, new luan plywood sheeting needs to be glued, stappled, and screwed down to the old roof sheeting. This is required on all roof membrane replacements, to promote proper adhesion of the new membrane. Then we cut out roof openings and tape up all seams.
After proper cleaning and taping all edges, the new membrane is laid out and positioned. We over strap the membrane to holds its position and roll it to both ends. The apply glue, unroll small sections and broom out any air bubbles.
